We currently start TRAC as an "@reboot" script from cron (from the user "trac"'s crontab). It would be desirable to instead start (or stop, or restart) TRAC via systemd. A unit file will need to be created (or cribbed from an outside source) to do so. We don't have TRAC integrated into Apache (and I really don't want to do that in any case), so we start it as a standalone daemon. |

MediaWiki 1.23 will be end-of-life in May 2017. At that time, 1.27 will be the current LTS version. The upgrade needs to be performed before then. |
