Description

MediaWiki 1.23 will be end-of-life in May 2017. At that time, ​1.27 will be the current LTS version. The upgrade needs to be performed before then.

Note that MediaWiki 1.27 requires PHP 5.5.9 or later. This is not present in CentOS 7 base, so would probably best be installed using ​Software Collections (​5.5, ​5.6). The PHP extensions ctype, iconv, json, mbstring, openssl, and xml are required; some of these may not be included in the main package.
